DALLAS Today it's the Aloft Hotel, but starting Thursday, it becomes the Bud Light Hotel, and only News 8 was allowed inside for the incredible transformation.

The 193-room hotel across from the Dallas Convention Center is hosting what party planners are calling a big Texas-sized party.

Inside, there's a cozy lounge and bar. Outside, huge tents.

By Wednesday, the parking lot will be converted into a premiere concert venue capable of catering 3,500 guests.

Carlo Teso flew to Dallas all the way in from Italy. He's already giving the place a thumbs up.

I can't complain about anything, he said. Cool, really cool place! You'll love it!

On Thursday, Bud Light Rock kicks off its concert series with live performances by The Fray and special guest Lifehouse.

Then, Friday ushers in the Playboy bunnies for an exclusive soiree featuring Snoop Dogg, Warren G and Flo Rida.

Dallas resident Lateia Hendrix says it's a party she won't miss. I think its gonna be a good experience, she said.

Hip-hop Artist Nelly along with singer-songwriter Ke$ha and Pitbull take the stage Saturday.

Then, party-goers will round out Super Bowl Sunday with the largest tailgate party, featuring country music superstar Dierks Bentley with special guest Jack Ingram.

Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Joel Lavender said there are 300 parties in Dallas the department will be monitoring, including activities at the Bud Light Hotel.

Our goal is, wherever we have a lot of people we have a lot of resources, he said. We want to make sure everyone is safe and feels safe here.

Visitors to the Bud Light Hotel events must be 21 years old to enter, but events there are not open to the public; tickets were distributed to contest winners.
