It's not something you expect on a college campus, but Thursday Tarrant County College revealed a new, state-of-the-art gun range.

It's an indoor range allowing police and sheriff's departments to better simulate real-life situations.

The departments had been using the college's outdoor range, but it's become outdated.

The new facility cost $8.5 million.
