More than 10 weeks after Bobby Ervin was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Dallas convenience store, Dallas police have arrested a suspect.

Damond Williams, 18, was taken into custody early Saturday morning near the intersection of Overton Road and Fernwood Avenue in South Dallas in connection with Ervin's death.

Williams was held without bond for murder. He also faces other charges including evading arrest and child endangerment.

Ervin was killed during an argument in the parking lot of the Little World convenience store on Malcolm X Boulevard.
