BEDFORD -- A former Hurst math teacher is charged with sexual assault and engaging in improper relationships with his students.

Timothy T. Flasik, 27, has been charged with two counts of improper relationship between educator and student, as well as two counts of sexual assault of a child. He was arrested in Dallas on Aug. 7.

Police say the former Hurst Junior High teacher is accused of carrying on the relationships with 15-year-old female students over the past 10 months. The crimes reportedly took place at his Bedford apartment.

One of the victims told police she had been in a sexual relationship with Flasik during that time and said they had sex more than 20 times. She also told police that when she went toFlasik's apartment, she would smoke weed and drink alcohol with him.

Flasik has since posted bond and been released from the Bedford Jail. His contract wasn't renewed with Hurst-Euless-Bedford School District after the 2013-2014 school year.
