Two former North Crowley High School football players drawn into a 2012 robbery plot by a 17-year-old woman who died in the crossfire pleaded guilty to lesser crimes and were sentenced to prison Friday.

Curtis Fortenberry, 23, was sentenced to 33 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a murder charge. Fortenberry, who authorities identified as the shooter in the slaying, must serve half of his sentence before becoming eligible for parole.
