Fort Worth police are seeking three suspects in a shooting that left a 12-year-old dead and a teenager injured earlier this month.

Upon arrival, officers found that two young men, a 12 and 16-year-old, had been shot. Both victims were transported to area hospitals.

The 12-year-old victim, James Hardemon, died from multiple gunshot wounds two days later on June 3.

Witnesses told police a dark, four-door vehicle pulled up in front of the house and at least two suspects exited the vehicle and shot at the house with a high powered rifle, wrote department spokeswoman Sharron Neal in the release.

The victim who died was standing in front of the home, while the 16-year-old was asleep inside. A number of other occupants were inside the home, including two children. They were not harmed, the press release reads.

At this time, three suspects are still unidentified. A fourth suspect, Daniel Anderson, was arrested on June 12.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Det. Tom O Brien with the Fort Worth Homicide Unit at 817.392.4338 or Crime Stoppers at 817.469.8477. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. All tips are anonymous.
