DALLAS - The DART Red Line has created a shorter wait for passengers.

Starting Monday, the agency added cars to its red line s morning and afternoon rush hours trains to meet ridership demands.

Trains depart every seven-and-a-half minutes instead of ever 15 minutes.

The additional service was originally set for 2012, buta DART official said it started on Monday because of higher gas prices.

Make sure you check the schedule online.
