The North Texas Tollway Authority is fighting a bill that would limit the fees for drivers who do not pay their tolls.

The NTTA issues past due notices, along with a $25 fee for each unpaid toll.

The new legislation would allow the agency to onlyadd a single $25 fee.

It would also give drivers 30 days to pay the past due amount.

The NTTA collects about $20 million in fees annually.
