TRAFFIC: As North Texas prepares to cheer the Texas Rangers on to beat the Philadelphia Phillies, is working to make sure you beat the traffic -- even if you're not going to the game.

With the gates opening at 10 a.m., News 8 traffic reporter Shane Allen is anticipating congestion on I-30 westbound east of SH 360 and I-30 eastbound west of SH 360. Backups should be expected on SH 360 northbound south of I-30. This may clear and not add to the normal Arlington lunch rush hour at noon, but any accidents could cause residual delays past noon.

Reverse flow backups on I-30 away from SH 360 and on SH 360 away from the Ballpark should be expected starting at 3:30 p.m. and lasting through the normal evening rush hour. If you're taking I-30 or SH 360 in and around Arlington, expect 10 minutes to be added to your commute home. Use Division and W. Pioneer Pkwy as alternates east and westbound.

To help alleviate the heavy traffic coming to Globe Life Park, the westbound T-Ramp to Legends Way/Baird Farm Road on I-30 will be open from 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Monday. The eastbound T-Ramp will be open to I-30 from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for traffic leaving the game.

PARKING INFO: The Globe Life Park in Arlington cash parking lots will open at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. The Rangers will offer cash parking in the AT&T Stadium Lots 12-13 (southwest of the A Lot) as well as the regular cash lots. In addition, Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, and the Arlington Convention Center will be offering cash parking in their lots on Monday.

AT&T Way will be closed between Randol Mill Road and Cowboys Way during the Philadelphia series due to preparations for the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship at AT&T Stadium the following weekend. As a result, parking will not be available in AT&T Stadium Lot 4 on opening day.

Globe Life Park in Arlington gates will open at 10:00 a.m. on opening day.

TICKET SITUATION: The home opener is a complete sellout. The Rangers and Phillies conclude the series with 7:05 p.m. games on Tuesday, April 1 and Wednesday, April 2. Good seats remain for both games on
