Garland police are asking for the public to help find two men who shot and wounded a Dollar General clerk during a robbery on Monday night.

Police spokesman Joe Harn said the two masked men entered the store in the 5100 block of North Jupiter Rd. at 9:30 p.m. and held up the clerk with handguns. Both fired at him after the robbery, hitting him once in the arm and once in the leg. The victim is recovering at a nearby hospital.

Harn said police need help identifying the men responsible. Both are 5'7'' with thin builds. One of the men has a lighter skin complexion while the other's is darker.

Surveillance footage captured the light skinned male firing into the ceiling, hitting the clerk with the gun and shooting in his direction. The other man shot as he fled the store.
