GARLAND - Police in Garland have arrested a former youth pastor and listed his brother as a person of interest after allegedly participating in inappropriate contact with female victims under the age of 17 at the Arapaho Baptist Church, read a statement released Friday morning by Garland police.

Joshua Earls, 28, was arrested earlier this week on two counts of indecency with a child by contact, the statement read. His brother, 24-year-old Jordan Earls, moved out of state before his brother's arrest. However, he was listed as a person of interest in the case.

The men both worked at the Arapaho Baptist Church. The elder Earls served as a youth pastor and his younger brother as a volunteer.

Joshua Earls was released on a $100,000 bond.
