IRVING Firefighters hosed down the Dr Pepper bottling plant in Irving Tuesday morning after flames broke out while workers tarred the building's roof.

All workers at the facility in the 2300 block of Century Center Boulevard were evacuated while firefighters got the situation under control in searing mid-summer heat.

The cause of the fire, near the product testing section of the plant, remains under investigation.

The company said no employees were hurt, and that production was expected to resume shortly, so don't panic, thirsty Texans.
