MARCH 29/31:GOODFRIDAYANDEASTERSERVICE AT THE DENTONCOUNTYCOWBOYSCHURCH: While churches across North Texas will be holding Good Friday and Easter services, members of the Denton County Cowboy Church are extra excited as they plan their first service since rebuilding after a three-alarm fire heavily damaged the Ponder church in May of last year. The church's first service will take place Good Friday evening in the new building. The church will also hold a sunrise Easter Sunday service at 6:45 a.m. and a regular Sunday service at 10 a.m.

MARCH 30/31:EASTERATTHEARBORETUM:The Dallas Arboretum is celebrating Easter weekend with face painting, a petting zoo and live bunny for photographs.

Guests are encouraged to use the convenient shuttle at Gaston/Garland that will drop them at the Arboretum's front door.

MARCH 31: GRANDOPENINGOFFIRSTBAPTISTCHURCHDALLAS: The First Baptist Church will celebrate the grand opening of its new $130 million campus on Easter Sunday at 1707 San Jacinto St. in Dallas. Easter service starts at 11 a.m.
MARCH 31: EASTER SUNDAYSUNRISESERVICEONTHEFLOWERMOUND: Now a 39-year tradition, an Easter Sunday service will take place at sunrise on the summit of The Flower Mound, 12 acres of prairie grassland with a 50-foot view over North Texas. The tradition is carried on by three Flower Mound civic organizations: The Summit Club, Women of Flower Mound and Flower Mound Foundation. Service starts at 6:55 a.m. and sunrise is anticipated at 7:17 a.m. About 1,500 people are expected to attend. Comfortable clothing is encouraged.
MARCH 31: EASTERINTHEPARKANDPOOCHPARADE: From a dog parade and contest to live music and food and beverages, Easter in the Park and Pooch Parade will kick off at 10 a.m.
Pooch Parade registration will be located by the statue and available on-site only. Registration is $10 for the first category and $5 for each after. (May go online, check back here for details.) Categories are: small dog, medium dog, large dog, owner-look-alike, and best overall.

11:00 AM - Pooch Parade and Bonnet Contest Registrations Open
12:00 PM - Adoptable Pooch Parade followed by Judged Pooch Parade
02:00 PM - Live Entertainment Starts (being scheduled now)
05:00 PM - Food & Beverage Ends (please clean up after yourselves)
