DALLAS Supporters of Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price came to his defense hours after the FBI raided the veteran politician's office and home.
Several activists and supporters met at a South Dallas restaurant Monday night to discuss the investigation and to speak out for Price.
We just want to say to this soldier: 'You're not by yourself,' said Price supporter Edna Pemberton. That doesn't mean just because investigations happen that he's guilty.
Price has represented the southern sector of Dallas County for 26 years, where he's been re-elected six times.
Over the years, Price pushed to increase minority hiring and for greater minority representation in government.
