Ondine is sweet-natured Irish film starring Colin Farrell as Syracuse, a sad fisherman who captures a woman in his nets and brings her on shore.

Syracuse also has a lovely daughter with kidney failure who believes the woman in the net is a magical sea creature and before you can say Little Mermaid, love is in the air.

Ondine is another gem from writer-director Neil Jordan. He's taken real-life characters and intertwined them with a myth, and with hope. The result is a lovely, soft spoken film.
