FORT WORTH -- A man escaped on a bicycle Tuesday morning after robbing a Fort Worth bank.

According to Fort Worth Police Officer Sharron Neal, at about 9:30 a.m. the suspect entered the Wells Fargo in the 1600 block of S. University Dr. and demanded all of the money before pulling a stocking cap over the top half of his face.

The suspect gave a bag to the tellers and fled with an 'undisclosed amount of money,' according to Neal.

The man was last seen fleeing on a silver, cruiser-style bicycle traveling north on Old University.

The suspect is described as a white male between 45 and 55 years old, wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans.
