A Dallas man arrested for impersonating a police officer last week had an arsenal of weapons in his faux squad car.

According to an arrest warrant, a real police off-duty officer observed 28-year-old Hope Okereke driving a blue Dodge Charger 'that did not appear to be an authentic police vehicle' last Friday night on the Dallas North Tollway.

The Charger was estimated to be traveling in excess of 100 mph and was operating with a flashing red-and-blue light bar.

The off-duty officer followed the speeding vehicle to an business in the 2700 block of North Harwood Street. The arrest warrant says Okereke claimed to be a security guard and denied he had turned on the light bar of his vehicle.

Police seized the car along with body armor; an AR-15 rifle; ammunition; two badges; and a grenade launcher.

Okereke was charged with impersonating a police officer and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
