KELLER -- Beavers have moved into an upscale Keller neighborhood, and residents say the critters need to move out.

The beaver family keeps rebuilding a small dam on a drainage creek through Marshall Ridge. Standing water backs up, creating an ideal home for snakes and mosquitoes.

The HOA advisory board has contacted a wildlife expert to trap the beavers and relocate them, but only one has been caught.

Brittainy Fink with the HOA board said she wishes the beavers could stay, but that they need to go. She said she hopes the entire colony can be kept together when they are relocated.
