THOMAS, Okla. (AP) Firefighters were battling a fire and officials ordered nearby areas evacuated after a fire and explosions rocked a manufacturing site in Custer County.

News 9 reports early Thursday morning that police confirm explosions hit a Danlin facility.

The television station says a Thomas Fire Department worker said evacuations had been ordered in the area immediately around the plant.

Officials say they did not know the cause of the fire or explosions. No injuries have been reported.

According to its website, Danlin Industries produces chemicals for the oil and gas industry.

The plant is located about 72 miles northwest of Oklahoma City.
