Arlington police have photos of a man who robbed a bank on Monday, and say the same person may be responsible for a series of similar crimes in North Texas.
They're hoping you can help them identify the suspect, who has become known as the "Mesh Mask Bandit."
The photos show a man wearing a dark hooded jacket, a black baseball cap and a black mesh "wave cap" or stocking over his face during the robbery at the Capital One bank branch in the 200 block of North Mesquite Street around 5:30 p.m.
The suspect was driving an early-to-mid 2000s navy blue Dodge Caravan minivan with a paper license plate.
Police said the suspect may have red dye stains and/or burns from a device which was triggered after he fled with the cash.
Investigators advise that the Mesh Mask Bandit should be considered armed and dangerous; do not approach him if seen.
