All North Texas Hawaiian Falls locations will host Champions Day at the water parks for special needs children and their families on Saturday, Aug. 9.

The special guests and their families will have the park to themselves from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., then the park will open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., but the guests and their families are welcome to stay at no additional charge.

Special needs children can visit the parks for free on Champions Day, while their families can get in for $5 per person with the coupon at this link.

'Champions Day is one of our favorite events,' said President of Hawaiian Falls Waterparks David Busch in a release. 'To see the joy on the children's faces and the special bond with their families is priceless. We are proud to host them every year.'

In addition, Tom Thumb will be selling day pass tickets during the month of August so all visitors can get in at kids' prices ($19.99) and $1 from every day pass sold will benefit Easter Seals, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the Special Olympics.

Hawaiian Falls has North Texas locations in Garland, The Colony, Mansfield, Roanoke, and White Settlement.
