PLANO -- One person was injured Monday morning in a small chemical explosion in a lab at Plano Presbyterian Hospital.
It is unknown at this time what kinds of chemicals were involved in the reaction, which occurred around 10:30 a.m. No patient rooms are in the building where the lab is located, according to Jennifer Erickson with Texas Health Presbyterian.
News 8's Gary Ultee in HD Chopper 8 has seen fire officials come and go out of the building with their air tanks and masks on.
The injured person had minor injuries, according to Erickson.
The lab was temporarily closed, but has been reopened.
