Police said five motorcyclists were struck when a van's driver lost control on a Fort Worth freeway Saturday afternoon.
Police spokeswoman Officer Sharron Neal said female driver of the van lost control of the vehicle on Interstate 30 near Forest Park Boulevard shortly after noon. The airbags deployed when the van hit an embankment, and the driver her vision obscured struck a group of motorcyclists nearby.
MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said three people were injured and taken to local hospitals. One suffered serious injuries.
No names were released.
