'Yo, yo and hello' is no more.

For 28 years, the great Randy Galloway graced the local sports-talk airwaves with a style all his own.

On Monday evening, the 70-year-old Fort Worth Star-Telegram columnist said goodbye to his radio audience.

'Thank you everybody, and, look as they say at the rodeo, 'We'll see you down the road somewhere,'' he told listeners to his show on ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM.

'I'm gonna drink beer; bet horses; play golf; and just drive around and look at stuff,' he added. 'That's what old people do, huh? That's the way it oughta be.'

Galloway will continue to write for the Star-Telegram.
