By the time you wake up on Wednesday morning, conditions will have taken a very large turn.
There is severe weather in the forecast for the overnight hours into the morning rush hour.
This cold front is moving very quickly through western North Texas. It is now expected to arrive about midnight in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The front will arrive in Fort Worth a little earlier and in Dallas a little later.
The front moved through Bridgeport around 10 p.m. Tuesday and the temperature dropped 18 degrees in a matter of minutes.
The line of storms will be right on top of Dallas-Fort Worth at midnight, with widespread rain continuing through the day on Wednesday.
The majority of showers and thunderstorms will happen after the cold front passes through the area. This is why our severe threat is low.
It will be a nice soaking rain, with many areas receiving between 1 inch to an inch-and-a-half.
