DALLAS - Police in Dallas said a man fatally shot during a brawl early Tuesday morning stumbled toward an officer before he was transported to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
According to a statement released by police, the Dallas officer saw a wounded Jose Peralta, 19, walking towards him after he heard a gunshot during an unrelated traffic stop nearby at about 2:04 a.m. in the 700 block of S. Walton Walker near Club Rio. Peralta was transported to Methodist Central Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police arrested the alleged shooter, 17-year-old Raul Zuniga.
