DALLAS -- There was a big fuss Monday over the plight of a little puppy who got stuck in an underground drain pipe in in West Dallas.

The cries of the tiny Terrier mix got the attention of residents in the 3100 block of Clymer Street.

It took hours to get her out; she'd apparently been down there for days.

Three different city agencies were on hand to help. Using a remote-control inspection camera, they spotted the dog's precise location, then set up a trap with dog food in it to lure the pup in.

Once she was in, a worker lifted her to safety, and she was then transported to a shelter for evaluation.
