SAN ANTONIO -- Gubernatorial candidate State Sen. Wendy Davis (D-Fort Worth) visited a San Antonio Internet company on Monday.
She praised Rackspace, which offers cloud computing solutions, and San Antonio's strong economy.
While at Rackspace, she took a tour of the 'Castle,' the company's headquarters that took over from a former shopping mall, and even went down the famous slide that provides a rapid way to get downstairs.
The senator took questions from some employees and praised San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro and the city for passing changes to its non-discrimination ordinance.
'It's important that people be treated equally in the workplace, plain and simple,' Davis said. 'Discrimination is inappropriate -- regardless of why it is happening -- and it's inappropriate for any person.'
