DENTON - In an attempt to find three robbery suspects, police released surveillance video from a pawn shop, where they said the victim met the men who later robbed him in the driveway of a Denton residence.

The video shows the three suspects entering the Big State Pawn shop at about 7:30 p.m. on April 1 in the 1700 block of Teasley Ln. According to a statement released by Denton police, the men were attempting to sell a large flat screen TV.

Police said a customer at the store offered to purchase the TV from the men. With one of the men following behind, the customer drove to his home, where he planned to plug in the TV to make sure it was in working condition.

However, police said once the two men met at the end of the driveway, the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money. After robbing the victim, he fled the scene, located in the 1800 block of Mercedes Rd.

The suspects fled the area in a black, four-door mid-sized vehicle with black aftermarket rims.

SUSPECTDESCRIPTIONS:

  • 18 to 21-year-old black male, 5'10", 200 pounds, short hair (armed with gun)
  • 18 to 21-year-old black male, 5'8", 140 pounds, large diamond stud earrings, wearing a black do-rag
  • 18 to 21-year-old black male, 5'6", 130 pounds, short hair
