DALLAS - Storms rolled through North Texas overnight, packing a heavy dose of wind, rain and thunder.

WFAA and News 8 Daybreak Facebook fans in Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Midlothian, and Fort Worth all reported hail.

As of 6 a.m., about 2,000 customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area were without power, according to Oncor, which is working on the problem.

While the storms moved through the area, sustained winds remained at 15 to 20 mph early Tuesday morning throughout North Texas.

A red flag warning has been issued for the eastern area from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Corsicana to Paris area.

Temperatures will remain cool, at about 60 degrees at noon and 65 degrees at 5 p.m.
