Pancakes are on the Daybreak menu this morning. No need for store-bought mixes when you have all the ingredients you need in your pantry. Pancakes are a quick meal to serve and this recipe is a time saver that will allow you to make extras and freeze them for a quick meal on the go. With so manyflavors ofpancakes to choose from, it's hard to pick a favorite. Today I shared a basic pancake recipe that you can eat them plain or add whatever you like, even bacon.
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/2 stick melted butter
- 2 eggs
- Dash of vanilla
- Whisk/mixdry ingredients together in a medium sized bowl.
- Whisktogether wet ingredients,then whisk into the flour mixture until just combined. Ladle 1/4 cupfuls onto a hot buttered skillet and cook until bubbly.
- Flip and cook until golden on the bottom.
