HOUSTON Two suspects got a little more than they bargained for when they picked the wrong pizza place to hold up Thursday night.

According to Harris County Sheriff's deputies, two armed men entered the Domino's Pizza in the 7800 block of Louetta around 11:45 p.m. and demanded cash from the employees.

What they did not know, was one of the employees is a reserve Harris County sheriff's deputy. The deputy pulled out his own weapon and all three men began firing.

Both suspects were shot and transported to the hospital in critical condition. One of the suspects was shot in the face.

The deputy and his fellow employees were unharmed.
