UPDATE 5/1: Fort Worth police say Charleisa Ector has been found safe. Detectives are investigating, but at this point, it appears there was no foul play.
FORTWORTH - A Fort Worth mother pleaded Wednesday morning for the safe return of her missing 11-year-old daughter, Charleisa Ector.
Ector was last seen at about 2 p.m. Tuesday and police said she did not get on the school bus that takes her home at the end of the day. She was last seen in a blue muscle shirt, blue capri pants. Ector is a black female standing about 5'3 and weighing 150 pounds.
"Could y'all let her know that I love her," her mother said while talking with News 8. "She is not in trouble. There are a lot of people, her family and her friends are here, and we love her and we just want her to come home safely."
Anyone with information on Ector's whereabouts is asked to call Fort Worth police at 1-877-335-4222.
