Sommer Brown, the 14-year-old Cedar Hill girl who has been the subject of an Amber Alert, was found safe in Indianapolis, Indiana early Sunday morning.

Her non-custodial mother, Lisa Brown, was arrested.

Cedar Hill police said an Indianapolis officer on routine patrol spotted Brown's 2006 Ford Expedition around 2 a.m. parked behind a business in that city. The license plates had been removed, police said.

Cedar Hill police spokesman Corky Brown said Sommer was okay.

The Amber Alert was issued Friday afternoon after Sommer disappeared. Police feared she was in "grave and immediate danger."

Police had said Lisa Brown had a history of abusive behavior.
