ARLINGTON Arlington ISD parents started lining up early Monday. They were prepared to spend a week in this cold, windy weather for a chance to get their child to attend the school of their choice.

The spots aren't guaranteed, but the inclement weather is.

John McCaa talked with Duke Thompson, one of the parents camping out.

Shortly after the broadcast, the school district invited waiting parents inside AISD headquarters to stay warm.
