Police in Garland have asked for the public's help to identify two men involved in an armed sexual assault and robbery early Saturday morning.

The victim told investigators that the assailants entered her apartment in the 2900 block of West Walnut Street around 5 a.m., shortly after her husband left for work.

The woman said one of the men threatened her with a knife, tied her up and covered her face with a cloth before assaulting her. The victim said she believed the second man was searching the apartment for money at the same time.

Police said they believe her assailants were driving a dark-colored GMC or Chevrolet extended cab pickup truck with a toolbox in the bed. That vehicle is seen entering the apartment complex in a surveillance video.

The victim said her assailants spoke only Spanish to one another, according to police.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward for information leading to the identities of the two suspects. Call 972-272-8477 or go to the Garland Crime Stoppers web site to leave an anonymous tip.
