FORTWORTH-- When college football starts next month, ESPN will be broadcasting its show College GameDay from the heart of Fort Worth -- Sundance Square.

The network was previously in the square for the NCAA Men'sFinal Four and the SuperBowl.

This year will be a bit different as ESPN plans to be there for the beginning and end of the season, starting with the Cowboys Classic between Oklahoma State and Florida State on Aug. 29. TCU has a home game the same weekend.

Sundance Square just underwent $100 million in renovations. The new and improved plaza opened in November.

'It's a can't-miss spot. Sundance Square has great natural energy and it's got a great vibe to it,' a senior producer with GameDay said.

College GameDay usually sets up on the campus of a school where a game is being played, but the network is hoping to draw a bigger fan base.
