ARLINGTON -- A pregnant woman was one of seven people injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Arlington. The woman's unborn baby did not survive.
Around 10:30 a.m., a car traveling east in the 700 block of West Arkansas Lane was turning onto the 2300 block of Matlock Road as a van was driving west on West Arkansas when the vehicles collided. The collision caused the van hit a signal-light pole head on.
There was one passenger in the car and two adults and four children in the van. All seven were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries. The woman lost her child due to injuries sustained in the crash.
The other children have been released from the hospital.
Investigators continue to look into the exact causes of the crash.
