NHL veteran Jaromir Jagr skated with the Dallas Stars for the first time Saturday as the team prepares to resume action following a lockout that nearly dashed the entire season.

FRISCO — While the NHL works to take care of all the paperwork to finalize their new deal with players, the Stars are getting ready to get back to work.
The team skated at their training facility in Frisco on Saturday, and it was the first appearance of newly-acquired right-winger Jaromir Jagr.
This guy is like Wayne Gretzky over in Europe. There's no telling how much the 40-year-old Czech native has left in the tank, but the Stars and their fans are ready to find out.
