Brandon Ivy of Caddo Mills was killed on Oct. 29 when he was hit by a pickup truck in front of his home while trying to rescue a stray dog. The eight year old was very involved in the Caddo Mills Youth Sports Association and his football team played in the league's championship game for eight and nine year olds over the weekend. Before the game, there was a flyover set up by Chris Yarbrough. Yarbrough was the EMS supervisor who responded after Brandon was hit, and wanted to do something to honor the boy.
