A guide to watching NFL games on Twitter

Twitter, yes Twitter, will be the newest place to find select NFL games starting this season - a move that will make it even easier for cord-cutters to tune in.

Where can I find the games?

This tweet is an easy spot for Thursday:

or you can go to TNF.twitter.com each week.

How can I stream this to my TV?

There's a new Twitter app for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Microsoft's Xbox One that will "feature all live streaming video available on Twitter (including live streams of 10 NFL Thursday Night Football games, as well as content from MLB Advanced Media, NBA, Pac 12 Networks, Campus Insiders, Cheddar and Bloomberg News)," according to the press release from Twitter.

What games will be streaming on Twitter?

Week 2, Sept. 15: New York Jets at Buffalo Bills
Week 3, Sept. 22: Houston Texans at New England Patriots
Week 5, Oct. 6: Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers
Week 6, Oct. 13: Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers
Week 7, Oct. 20: Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers

Week 14, Dec. 8: Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
Week 15, Dec. 15: Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks
Week 16, Dec. 22: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles

Will it just be a straight video stream?

No, there will also be a livestream showing tweets "from athletes, commentators, teams and fans," according to Twitter.
