Leading a record field of 20,000, Edward Tabut of Kenya took first place Sunday morning in the 40th running of the Dallas White Rock Marathon.
Tabut, 26, finished the 26-mile course in a time of 2 hours, 16 minutes and 53 seconds.
"I'm very happy," he said after achieving his personal best. "I'm feeling OK."
The other top finishers in the men's division were:
