DALLAS - The NHL's trade deadline came and went Monday without any action from the Dallas Stars.

Stars general manager Joe Nieuwendyk said the team is peaking at the right time and will soon be getting more help as the injured Jamie Benn and Brenden Morrow rejoin the team.

News 8's Joe Trahan spoke to Nieuwendyk at a team event Monday night.
