ARLINGTON -- Monday night Rangers fans will see Japanese pitching sensation Yu Darvish take the mound for the Texas Rangers in his Major League Baseball debut.
Manager Ron Washington held catcher Mike Napoli out of Sunday night's line up so he can be paired with Darvish.
Yu has been the focus of considerable media attention, both here and in Japan.
The Rangers picked him up after posting a $51 million bid and then signing him to a $60 million deal.
First Pitch is just after 7 p.m.
