DALLAS- The Super Bowl is over and work has begun to remove those giant Super Bowl Decals seen in downtown Dallas.

Construction crews at the future Omni Hotel Convention Center are taking down 38,000 square feet of vinyl.

Nearly 500 individual pieces are put together to create Aaron Rodgers, Troy Polamalu, and the Lombardi Trophy images.

"Oh, it's awesome," said Jim Jones, Spectrum Energy Solutions. "Lot of hours, a lot of long days. Really a sense of accomplishment when you can get down on the ground and tell your friends that "I'm working on that."

Construction crews are expected to have the decals down by the end of the week. It will take 600 man hours to take the decals down.
