Possibly no one has been harder on Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger than former Pittsburgh quarterback Terry Bradshaw, but on Fox's pre-game special on Sunday, it appears the two have made up. At least for the cameras.
Bradshaw asked Roethlisberger if it was all too much to fast for the seventh year veteran.
“I wasn't prepared for it. But, I'm hesitant to say it, because it's not an excuse. I don't make excuses. It gets thrown to you and all of a sudden you are the man,” said Roethlisberger on the pre-game special. “You know how it is, they almost treat you like a God. You are super human.”
Bradshaw followed it up with, “how hard do you have to try to sell people on this new Ben. If it is a new Ben?”
“I'm not trying to sell people,” said Roethlisberger. “I'm just trying to be me. You can't win everybody back right away. That is fine.”
After coming back out to the set, Bradshaw admitted it was important for the two to have a relationship.
“It's important for me, if nothing more than for me to just go out and shake his hand and tell him good luck.”
