ARLINGTON — The Dallas Cowboys do a lot of very good things off the field — a lot of them — and Thanksgiving Day is part of their annual work with the Salvation Army.
Sunday's game was, in part, to honor our military. Three-hundred-and-fifty men and women in uniform attended the Cowboys-Browns game. There were skydivers from every war back to World War II bringing the coin for the opening toss.
Some of them wanted to come through the hole in the Cowboys Stadium roof (but they didn't), all part of the military appreciation game.
Former Cowboys quarterback and Naval officer Roger Staubach was there, and that gave Ted Madden a chance to talk with Captain America about Cowboys football.
