The NFL has unveiled its 2012 schedule, and at the Dallas Cowboys will appear in at least five national television broadcasts.

The Cowboys kick off the season in New York on Wednesday night, September 5. That game and at least three others will be broadcast nationally in prime time, including two from Cowboys Stadium.

The Cowboys will also play their second contest on the road, at Seattle on September 16.

The team's home opener comes on Sunday, September 23 when Tampa Bay pays a visit.

The Washington Redskins will come to Arlington to play in the traditional Thanksgiving Day game.

The Cowboys will also be making their 74th appearance on Monday Night Football during the 2012 season, which is the second most in NFL history behind Miami’s 78.

The team will close the regular season on the road in Washington on December 30.
