ARLINGTON — With as many as 100,000 Cowboys fans expected to pack Cowboys Stadium on Monday night there are sure to be longer lines.
This may mean a longer than usual wait to get into the stadium because of the NFL’s enhanced security measures. The NFL has started new and enhanced pat downs that are now part of the entrance into the game.
Some may find this an invasion of privacy, but all 32 teams must follow these rules.
Fans can expect to be patted down from the waist up and from the ankles to the knees.
The security measures are designed to prevent illegal weapons and alcohol. A man wearing a Cowboys jersey brought a stun gun into the September 11 game and tased a fan.
Game goers are encouraged to arrive early.
