IRVING -- The Dallas Cowboys announced Monday they have cut linebacker Dan Connor and intend to restructure the contracts of cornerback Orlando Scandrick, guard Mackenzy Bernadeau, and defensive tackle Jay Ratliff to get under the salary cap.

The deadline is Tuesday for NFL teams to get under the cap. The Cowboys were $7 million over the cap before restructuring several players' contracts last week.

Connor had 58 tackles in 14 games with Dallas in 2012.
